The Monomoy Shootout TOTALS
Thanks to your incredible generosity over the past three years, the Monomoy Shootout Fishing Tournament has raised more than $2,035,000 net for The Lillylulu Foundation, a T1D-focused 501(c)(3). We have made promises about how these funds would be granted and allocated, and we are proud to share the meaningful impact those commitments have made.
Through our partnerships with Boston Children’s Hospital, Joslin Diabetes Center’s Young Adult Program, and Outer Cape Health Services, we have significantly expanded our programs—making a real difference for individuals and families living with T1D. This progress is a direct result of the strength and support of this community.
We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together and deeply grateful for your continued support, trust, and belief in our mission.
The Monomoy Shootout 2025

On August 14th-15th, in partnership with North Chatham Outfitters, we hosted the 3rd Annual Monomoy Shootout // Fishing for a Cure — and what a weekend it was! 🎣🌟
The energy, love, generosity, and resilience from our community made this our most successful event yet. 💪 From the fishing tournament to Friday night’s celebration, it was pure magic. 💫 Congratulations to our tournament champion, Kinda Nice (Robert Palma) and all category winners.

The Monomoy Shootout 2024

The 2024 Monomoy Shootout is in the books and by all accounts a smashing success. We had 52 boats participate, over 210 anglers, more than 300 guests at the awards & auction dinner, and 260+ donors contributing to the Lillylulu Foundation with more donations rolling in each day. We would like to thank all our participants, guests, donors, sponsors and the tireless efforts of so many volunteers who worked diligently to pull off the two day event. Special thanks to the continued generosity of our two main hosts - The Red Nun and the Giorgio Family and Outermost Harbor Marine and the Kahn Family. We would like to congratulate Captains Chris Lynch and Ben Crago of Tashtego as the 2024 Monomoy Shootout Tournament Champions with 194.5 points and taking home this year’s trophy. 🏆 Also congrats to 2nd Place winners, Amaezing Grace (Captained by Michael Vaughan and Peter Walsh) and 3rd Place winners, Nooners (Captained by Jeff Ethier and Devin Kahn). 🎣
We are ecstatic to announce as of today your generosity has yielded a record-breaking fundraising result of over $765,000 NET to the Lillylulu Foundation! 🌟 Truly a remarkable show of love, support, confidence, and belief in our team and most importantly, our mission. On behalf of the Monomoy Shootout and the Lillylulu Foundation Board, we thank all of you for the encouragement, support and the generosity that allows us to drive our mission and fight against T1D. The secret recipe in all of this are the relationships and people involved.

The Monomoy Shootout 2023

We want to thank you for your participation and support of The Monomoy Shootout, Fishing For a Cure event. We had 41 boats participate, over 250 people at the Friday night Awards Dinner + Auction and together we raised a record breaking $601,135.12 NET to the Lillylulu Foundation!! 🌟 Astonishing!!!
We appreciate all the support more than words can say and we will thank you with our actions. This is just the beginning and we look forward to making you proud to be associated with this event and Foundation. Stay tuned for an amazing announcement soon regarding our groundbreaking partnership with a world leading T1D organization! We are beyond excited to share this news with you. 💙
Charity Partnership
Charity is a partnership between North Chatham Outfitters, The Monomoy Shootout (pending 501c3) and The Lillylulu Foundation (T1D focused pending 501c3) to support T1D focused research, care and treatments including the T1D Fund (t1dfund.org) and JDRF (jdrf.org) as well as underserved areas and populations with targeted direct donations and grants.
